Weigh in Tuesday (week 17)

Weigh in after a week of eating and drinking way too much in DC was definitely a scary prospect. I thought for sure I had gained and probably a lot. I was a little disappointed in myself because I have been so close to 10% for so long. Miraculously or really I think because I forced myself to walk absolutely EVERYWHERE while I was in DC, I maintained, not even a .1 gain. That's pretty exciting for me. So this week I'll be on program and hopefully kick that 10% butt by the next Tuesday ... wish me luck!

Vacation o-my





So I went to DC this week. Had a fabulous time, saw some good friends and did the tourist thing. I also ate way off track and drank way too much. I'm sure it will not mean good things for my weigh in tomorrow. I'm a little sad that I know I'm going to be up again but I also did not even work a little at staying on plan. It was worth it though I think. WW is a lifestyle, I know I can get back on track and I know I had a great time on my vacation. One small NSV along the way was that I felt like I looked great in all my photos with friends etc. Which is huge because for so long I've felt like a fat blob in all my pictures (here is one of them).

Weigh in Tuesday (week 16)

So I had weigh in this morning. I was hoping to get to my 10% goal. I needed to lose .6 lbs to get there. I just really want that darn key chain. Well to say none the less I didn't get there. I only lost .2 lbs. Considering the weekend I had, I went to a Dave Matthews Band show in Saratoga Springs NY, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. At first I was disappointed in myself but then I remembered how much fun I had and you know what this is a new life style for me. That's gonna mean not every week is perfect, and I'm okay with that (or at least coming to grips with it). Hopefully I can keep in check while I'm in D.C. this week. Wish me luck!
